Meet the teacher 15 min call = free
A welcome video call to introduce myself and discuss with you what English goals you have. The aim of this short call is to find out your reasons for learning English and gain some information about your interest in football so that your sessions can be as tailored as possible. The call will be via Zoom / WhatsApp.
60 minute sessions = £30 an hour
Every session will begin with a recap of your previous learning. This might involve feeding back about a homework task or revisiting the last session briefly. The main body of the session will aim to develop learning areas that both of us have acknowledged as language skills to improve on alongside a target-based approach. Football-focused resources will support your learning: using visuals, audio clips, case studies and player profiles to name a few. Objectives and criteria will be made clear throughout your journey. To conclude, sessions will end with an overview of the main learning and the next homework task being set. Homework tasks may be for consolidating taught skills or some pre-learning before a skill is taught.
I believe as a teacher, it is important to allow the student to offer ideas in terms of content. For example, if there is a particular player or coach you would like to explore (in English), then your sessions will be tailored to respond to this want.
X10 sessions offer = £280
I offer an alternative payment structure. If you would like to pay for a series of ten sessions upfront then this is an option for you.
