Hello! My name is Andrew. I am an EFL teacher and private tutor. Since leaving university in 2010, I have worked in primary education, undertaking a number of roles from classroom teacher to English subject lead to senior leader. I have a wealth of experience in teaching and love to focus my work on nurturing students on a journey of self-development and, as a result, becoming lifelong learners.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in English Literature, Film and Journalism (2:1) and hold a TEFL certificate as of October 2022, after deciding to transition from full-time primary education to English language teaching.
Education and football have always lived side-by-side throughout my life and I enjoy combining these passions when I teach. I should mention at this stage that I am a massive Arsenal fan (I hope that does not put you off!) but have a strong interest in world football. I host a podcast focused of football’s topical issues as well as stories from the past.
